This antique french stove hood ( Note: facing- decorative only -this is not a working hood) is approx 37" at it's widest point, 24" high at the center, and 7" deep. It is in excellent condition with these minor chips. One of the chips is visible at the left lower side on the front about an inch long. There is a small surface chip on the very top behind the floral design and one other on the back side. I bought this many years ago with the intention of building it into a kitchen with a country french design. It is fairly heavy and is cast (it is hollow on the back side) of an unknown material that looks like stone. It has a floral design at the top and what looks like either floral bouquets and a leaf pattern throughout flanking each side. I do have additional photos showing the detail and back side along with the mentioned chipped areas. I would be happy to send them upon request. This is truly a one of a kind piece. I go to a lot of antique sales and auctions and have never seen another piece like it. It would make a wonderful unique focal point in a kitchen or really as a pediment or top to a custom designed mirror. This large oversized rustic iron vintage carriage lantern would be a beautiful addition to an outdoor room.  It has a working plug that will need to be repaired and/or rewired depending upon the application.  It has an unusual flourish at the top giving it a unique style.  It has 5 candelabra lights within the open cage which can be left as is or fitted with glass inserts for a more formal look.  It measures 15" wide, 32" overall height.  The top 10" of the overall height is the decorative flourish.
